Better Healthcare

I have a background in public health and I understand the issues in our health system. They are complex problems to fix.

Our hospitals are under strain and ambulance ramping has reached record levels because our whole system is under strain.

ANNA'S ACTION
As part of the Liberal Team, I am committed to:
  • Significantly increasing our investment in mental health.
  • Providing greater incentives to attract and retain doctors and nurses.
  • Investing more in preventative health.
  • Providing better community-based care to ensure people who don't need to be in hospital have the support they need.

Saving our Suburbs

I know how proud and passionate our community is about our heritage homes, the character of our streets, and our leafy green tree canopy and parks.

Labor has introduced an urban infill target, bulldozed heritage properties and cut funding for street trees.

ANNA'S ACTION
As part of the Liberal Team, I am committed to:
  • Scrapping Labor’s urban infill target.
  • Re-instating the $2 million/year Greener Neighbourhoods grant scheme for trees and parks.
  • Increasing heritage conservation grants to restore heritage buildings.
  • Pursuing world heritage listing of the Adelaide Park Lands.

Reducing cost icon

Reducing your Cost of Living

Whether it's the cost of mortgages, rent, power, medical bills or fuel, cost of living is not a niche issue - it's affecting everyone.

Labor doesn't have a plan to help people who are struggling and they're not doing enough to help people who are struggling to find an affordable home to buy or rent.

ANNA'S ACTION
As part of the Liberal Team, I am committed to:
  • Fighting for immediate cost of living relief to help people with their skyrocketing bills so we can all breathe a little easier.
  • Reducing red tape and improving local infrastructure to ensure our building industry can build the homes we need quicker.

Getting Trucks off Portrush Road

Heavy trucks don't belong on a suburban road like Portrush Road.

Labor cut funding for the Truro Freight Route - an important step for the Greater Adelaide Freight Bypass. No Greater Adelaide Freight Bypass = more heavy trucks on Portrush Road.

ANNA'S ACTION
If elected, I will be:
  • Working closely with my federal and state colleagues to fight for a Greater Adelaide Freight Bypass to get trucks off Portrush Road.

Being your community champion.

Hold Labor to account

I don’t want people in our community to struggle to pay their bills, put a roof over their head or have to wait hours to access emergency healthcare. I will work to hold Labor to account and keep them focused on the important issues.

Megaphone advocate icon

Advocate for our community

I will always fight for our community to have the best schools, parks and roads. I will work to protect our precious natural environment, the character of our streets and suburbs and to address traffic and road safety concerns, including those on Portrush Road.
